Student Summer Research Training

CTSI welcomes 19 students across Minnesota to its summer research training programs

The University of Minnesota’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) has accepted 19 undergraduate and professional health science students into its 2019 summer research training programs

The research training programs support CTSI’s overarching goal of advancing researchers through the career development continuum, from the undergraduate experience to an independent research career as a faculty member.

The training programs will provide Scholars, many of whom are from populations underrepresented in research, with knowledge, skills, and experience in translational science research. Scholars will experience a structured core curriculum, including a mentored research project, weekly research seminars, small group discussions, and a final poster to present research findings at the annual CTSI Poster Session.

Congratulations to the new Scholars!
