The University of Minnesota’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) has accepted 18 undergraduate and professional health science students into its 2018 summer research training programs, which provide scholars with knowledge, skills, and experience in translational science research.
These programs support CTSI’s overarching effort to advance researchers through the career development continuum, from the undergraduate experience to an independent research career as a faculty member.
Students learn through a mentored research project, weekly seminars, small group discussions, and a final poster to present project findings at CTSI’s annual poster session.
Congratulations to these new scholars!
