Video: CTSI leadership shares the vision and benefits of the CRSC to clinical researchers

The Office of Academic Clinical Affairs recently visited with Bruce Blazar, MD, Director of CTSI and Daniel Weisdorf, MD, Deputy Director of CTSI to learn more about how investigators mentor junior faculty to effectively conduct clinical trials, what the CTSI’s Clinical Research Support Center (CRSC) does, and what the next generation of the CRSC will look like.

The CRSC helps researchers by utilizing a collaborative team-based approach to guide and support the advancement of their research through the clinical research process. The CRSC helps to eliminate barriers with the goal of reducing study start-up times.

The CRSC is a collaborative partnership between four clinical research groups; Office of the Vice President for Research, Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Fairview Health Services, and University of Minnesota Physicians

Support is available to all researchers and study teams from researchers early in their career who need guidance and full-service experts to researchers who only need focused assistance. We start helping the researcher by understanding their study needs and challenges in order to engage the appropriate support method.
