CTSI hires Clinical Research Support Center Manager to oversee operations, performance

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute recently hired Jessie Oslowski, B.A., to lead the University of Minnesota’s Clinical Research Support Center (CRSC).

The CRSC is a developing center of clinical research services for U of M investigators and study teams aimed at making it easier to navigate and adapt to the ever-changing, complex clinical research environment.

The CRSC, slated to open later this year, will include content experts from cross-functional service groups in a single physical location convenient to investigators and staff. It is a partnership between the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Clinical and Translational Science InstituteFairview Health Services, and University of Minnesota Physicians. Ultimately, the goal of the CRSC is to advance research projects through the clinical research process more quickly.

Key CRSC administrator

As CRSC Manager, Jessie will oversee CRSC operations, which includes customer experience, service function coordination, services, process flows, staffing/coverage, systems and tools, and facility management. Jessie also will be responsible for oversight of CRSC performance and dedicated CRSC staff.

Jessie brings more than 20 years’ of experience in healthcare with increasing responsibilities and exposure to clinical research. Most recently, she served as Director, Research Administration for Medica Research Institute, where she provided leadership for research administration functions, including contracting, compliance, and grant preparation through submission.

Jessie received a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in Psychology with an emphasis in Health Sciences and Biology.
