CTSI releases RFA to support community-engaged research

CTSI is now accepting applications for its Community Health Collaborative Pilot Grants program, which supports community-university pilot research projects that address important health issues identified by Minnesota communities.

The program, administered by CTSI’s office of Community Engagement to Advance Research and Community Health (CEARCH), is designed to stimulate high-impact research while building and sustaining long-term partnerships between University of Minnesota researchers and community representatives, including nonprofits, healthcare providers, and community advocates.

Partner matching support is available to help community members find University researchers with complementary skills and expertise, as well as to connect University researchers to community collaborators.

Up to four projects are anticipated to receive up to $50,000 each to be used over 18 months during this RFA cycle. Mandatory Letters of Interest are due by Noon, Aug. 20, 2018.

To learn more about this grant opportunity and the researcher-matching process, attend the Pre-Application webinar 10:30-11:30am, Wednesday, Aug. 1. Access details will be provided upon registration for the webinar. A link to the recording will be added to CTSI’s website following the event.
