Community Engagement to Advance Research and Community Health (CEARCH) 
This CTSI function provides expert consultations, assistance finding community partners, grant funding for University-community research collaborations, and resources, tools, and training for conducting community-engaged research.

Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI) 
CAREI specializes in blending research and practice to drive meaningful change in education, building projects that translate to improved outcomes for children, families, systems, and communities. Services include grant writing, project design, project implementation and coordination, data collection, analysis, and dissemination, efficacy studies, and participatory research.

Center for Community-Engaged Learning
Essential academic resource for students, faculty, and staff seeking high-quality and meaningful opportunities to engage with communities in their learning, teaching, and research, and for community partners seeking reciprocal relationships with the University. Offers professional development and trainings, and scholarships, grants and awards for students, as well as resources for faculty and community partners interested in service-learning and community involvement.

Community-Engaged Scholar Directory
This directory showcases individuals from across the University of Minnesota system whose academic scholarship encompasses the University's definition of public engagement. The directory's purpose is to help foster professional connections and advance public engagement at the University of Minnesota.

Minnesota Council of Nonprofits
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) is one of the largest state associations of nonprofits in the country. It connects nonprofits across interest areas to advance issues of common concern and provides workshops and conferences, data and research, state and federal advocacy, and a member network.

Office for Public Engagement (OPE)
The Office for Public Engagement works with University academic programs and engagement units on all five campuses to build capacity to produce high quality public engagement programs and initiatives. 

Within the OPE is the Community-Campus Liaisons Council (CCLC), which supports public engagement staff professional development with activities including networking opportunities, classes, conferences, events, and dissemination of scholarly work. Support for Working with Community-Based and Small Business Sponsors/Subrecipients 
The University's Sponsored Project Administration has developed tools to help community organizations and small businesses navigate the process of being a partner on a grant with the University of Minnesota.

  • Technology Commercialization: Oversees all aspects of technology commercialization at the University, bridging the gap between the lab and the marketplace.
  • The Discovery Launchpad is a startup incubator and program of formal coaching for University of Minnesota researchers interested in forming a startup company to commercialize new technology.
  • Minnesota Innovation Partnerships (MN-IP): Provides assistance for business and industry partners working with the University research community.
