BioNet has unveiled a convenient new request process to enable researchers to request BioNet registration and services through the CTR Portal, a web-based system from CTSI that enables research teams to request research services.
This change builds on CTSI's efforts to give researchers an easier way to access a wide range of research services at the University of Minnesota.
Researchers can use the CTR Portal to request the following:
- BioNet registration
- Tissue procurement services
- Histology and/or immunohistochemistry (IHC) services
- Digital imaging services
Please note that additional documentation is required for histology, IHC and/or digital imaging services. To capture the detail needed to support those types of requests, BioNet will continue to use the following forms:
- Lab Services Form, for outlining the details of histology/IHC requests for services.
- Slide Scan Services Form, to be included with slides submitted for digital imaging services.
Research studies that are currently registered with BioNet will not be impacted by this change.
