Congratulations to Rachel Hardeman, PhD, who was named to the 2024 TIME100, its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The list recognizes the impact, innovation, and achievement of the world’s most influential individuals.

Dr. Hardeman is a tenured professor in the Division of Health Policy and Management at the School of Public Health, the Blue Cross Endowed Professor in Health and Racial Equity, and the founding director of the Center for Antiracism Research for Health Equity (CARHE, pronounced "care").

At CTSI she is co-leading a translational science project that was funded through the University’s third Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA). Early in her career Dr. Hardeman participated in the CTSI Translational Research Development Program (TRDP), which provides an opportunity for postdoctoral fellows, medical fellows, and predoctoral trainees to gain significant experience with clinical and translational research.
