Weijie Zhang is a first-year PhD student in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology program at the U of Minnesota. Weijie received his M.S. degree in Biostatistics from the School of Public Health at the U of Minnesota too. He did his undergraduate study in biological science at Zhejiang University.

Weijie conducts research on computationally predicting oncotherapy sensitivities and biomarkers for cancers. He is interested in developing computational methods that provide meaningful insights into precision therapies and clinical practice.
