Chowdhury Tasnova Tahsin is a Ph.D. student in the Rehabilitation Science Graduate Program at the University of Minnesota.

She is a recipient of the 2021 Advanced Pathways to Research Program(A-PReP) research training scholarship, which will support her training in clinical research on identifying cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors in postmenopausal females of diverse backgrounds, supervised by her professor, Dr. Manda L. Keller-Ross.

Tasnova is a physician and completed her M.B.B.S in Bangladesh. She decided to enter graduate school to pursue her research interest in women’s cardiovascular health, which stems from her experience as a medical student when she observed that women, particularly elder females, were being neglected in terms of their health issues. After completing her Ph.D., Tasnova intends to continue her career as a researcher.
