Dr. Boris Volkov leads CTSI's Monitoring and Evaluation function, which fosters systematic, collaborative evaluation throughout CTSI. The function supports decision-making, accountability, continuous improvement and organizational learning.

Dr. Volkov received his PhD in Evaluation Studies from the University of Minnesota; he also holds masters’ degrees in Educational Policy & Administration and Psychology and completed his Evaluation Fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Volkov previously served as a CDC Evaluation Fellow with the Division of Public Health Systems and Workforce Development at the Center for Global Health. He has expertise with research and evaluation studies in public health, healthcare, epidemiology, education, technology, and evaluation capacity building in organizations.
