New workgroup for UMN “All of Us” researchers

University of Minnesota researchers interested in conducting research that leverages data from the NIH’s All of Us Research Program are invited to attend a new workgroup.

The NIH program equips researchers with expansive health data from diverse populations, especially those underrepresented in biomedical research. It houses the deidentified medical records and genomic data of nearly 500,000 individuals in a secure enclave to help researchers to improve understanding of health and disease, identify opportunities to reduce disparities, and enable more effective and precise approaches to care.

Convened by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), the workgroup discusses All of Us best practices, productive All of Us data usage, and current and proposed research projects.

When and where

The group meets via Zoom on the fourth Friday of each month at 2pm. Upcoming dates:

  • December 27, 2024
  • January 24, 2025
  • February 28, 2025
  • March 28, 2025

To join, email [email protected]

More resources

CTSI’s informatics team is also providing end-to-end support — including methods, tools, and scientific services — for researchers in collaboration with the Institute for Health Informatics (IHI).

In August, they teamed up to hold a webinar on using the national dataset from the NIH All of Us Research Program:
