The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is pleased to announce the award winners from the 2025 Clinical and Translational Science Symposium and Poster Session.
This year’s event highlighted the innovative research of CTSI scholars, celebrated the vital contributions of mentors, and showcased work with the potential to improve human health. Academic and community perspectives came together, with community judges providing feedback that strengthened the real-world impact of each project.
2025 John Song Award
Recognizes a CTSI staff or faculty member who demonstrates sustained excellence, innovation, ethical leadership, and mentorship.

These awards recognize mentors who have made exceptional contributions to guiding and supporting CTSI scholars across training programs.

CTSI-Ed Travel Awards
The CTSI-Ed Travel Awards recognize scholars with outstanding poster presentations. Each recipient receives $1,500 to attend a scientific conference.

CTSI-CEARCH Dissemination Award
Awarded by the Community Engaged to Advance Research and Community Health (CEARCH) team. The recipient receives $1,500 to support community-engaged dissemination needs.
